Our Musical Journey

Trirekha, a haven for Hindustani Classical vocal music is the embodiment of Smt. Rashmi Prabha’s lifelong devotion to the art. Her musical journey began at the tender age of 7 under the tutelage of her Guru Pandit Ramakant Jha Raman. Immersed in the rich tradition of Gwalior Gharana, Smt. Rashmi absorbed the nuances of this profound music type. Her dedication culminated in achieving Prabhakar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti and Sangeet bhaskar from Prachin Kala kendra, Chandigharh. However Smt. Rashmi’s passion extended beyond personal achievement. She felt deep yearning to share the beauty and discipline of Hindustani Classical music with others. And so in 2020 Trirekha was born in the modest setting of Rashmi’s living room, with just two eager children ready to delve into the world of music under her guidance. Driven by her dedication and fuelled by her passion for teaching, what started as a small venture has blossomed into a flourishing music school with multiple batches of students of all ages.

Over the years, Trirekha has nurtured many learners, some of whom attend classes online from various parts of India and even abroad. Weekends at Trirekha echo with melodies—of curious beginners humming their first notes, of seasoned students perfecting their raagas, and of bhajans that stir the soul. With a strong emphasis on Hindustani classical music, semi-classical styles, and devotional bhajans, the school follows a methodical yet soulful approach to learning.

What makes Trirekha special is its personalized attention, flexible class timings, and the deep-rooted values of Indian tradition that form the heart of every lesson. Here, music is not just taught—it is lived, shared, and celebrated.
